Al-Kalalbah area

    Very little is known of this site, but the scattered potsherds and stone remains recorded indicate New Kingdom and Graeco-Roman activity, probably a settlement. The site is completely covered by agricultural land, meaning that plowing and the high water table is quickly destroying whatever remains are still preserved underground. It is unclear whether the site has ever been excavated or not.
